These terms apply when you use the Exam Français app. By using it, you accept them.

What the app is

Exam Français helps you prepare for the listening and speaking parts of TEF Canada and TEFAQ with mock tests, practice recordings, speaking topics and guides. The mock tests and recordings are written for the app; they are not official exam material.

Not an official exam

Exam Français is not affiliated with CCI Paris Île-de-France, France Éducation international or any exam center. TEF, TEFAQ and TCF are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe the exams the app prepares for. Scores, levels and NCLC equivalents shown in the app are estimates to help you practice. They are not official results, and we can't guarantee any result on the real exam.

Free version and unlock

Part of the app is free: one mock test a day, a set of practice recordings and speaking topics, all guides and your history. The unlock opens everything for a single payment through Google Play. It is not a subscription and is never charged again. It is tied to the Google account that bought it and can be restored on another device signed in to that account.

We add new tests and recordings over time. We may also change, improve or remove content, for example to correct a question, as long as the unlock keeps giving access to the full set of tests and practice material available in the app.

Refunds

Payments and refunds go through Google Play and follow Google Play's refund policy. If something doesn't work, write to us first at support@examfrancais.com and we'll try to fix it. This doesn't limit any rights you have under consumer protection law.

Using the content

The tests, recordings, texts and images in the app are protected by copyright. You may use them for your own preparation. You may not copy, record, resell or publish them, or try to extract them from the app.

Liability

The app is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but it may contain errors or be unavailable at times. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, such as exam fees or a result on the real exam. Nothing here limits rights that can't be limited under the law of your province or country.

Changes

If these terms change, we update this page and the date above. Important changes will also be shown in the app.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Québec and of Canada that apply there.
